Good morning, Christmas Friends!

It was a hot one yesterday at 97F. I was able to get the grass cut, smoke wings, and watch a good bit of football. Today will be more of the same weather. But tomorrow will be the start of a cooldown. We'll start the week at 85F and end it at 90F. We have a few things to do around the house after church, but it should be a relaxing day.

Good morning, Christmas Friends!

It's Labor Day, and the weather seems to have taken notice. We have a sunny day ahead of us with a high temperature of 86F. Much better than the mid-90s we've been experiencing. If my workshop shed isn't too hot, I would like to get out there and get some projects done. I've been holding them off, waiting for cooler weather, and this may be my chance to complete some of the smaller projects.

We’ve had a good Labor Day weekend. We got to spend some time with 2 of the grandkids at the wagon races. Our daughter went to Fayetteville with friends to watch the Hogs play Saturday. I don’t know how they survived the heat. Even Tusk the mascot stayed home. We watched the game on TV. I’ll always support the arazorbacks but I’m not looking forward to the season ahead.
