My husbands friend invited us to the Thanksgiving meal he hosts for his business and employees last night. He does this every year and it’s always a great dinner. This year he had it catered at a restaurant and it was really good. And today I enjoyed the Thanksgiving feast with my daughter at school. Glad she’s not too grown up for lunch with Mom. The kids will be out of school soon for the start of a nice long break. I’m having a hard time believing we are just over 5 weeks til Christmas.

Hubby had an outpatient procedure at the hospital yesterday so I spent a big part of my day being his designated driver. I did get my Thanksgiving grocery shopping done. So today is house cleaning and prepping for the big meal.

Good evening everyone!

We've been busy enjoying our staycation this week. Yesterday's annual cookie bake was a success. I made 387 chocolate chip cookies and 36 oatmeal raisin cookies. The oatmeal raisin cookies were the frozen kind I purchased from an FFA fundraiser. Today we went to Dublin, GA for some Christmas shopping. Had a great time and a great meal.
